Terms of Service

By creating an account or playing Cidle (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EEA) to use the Service. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Accounts
- You are responsible for keeping your password secure.
- You may not share, sell, or transfer your account.
- One account per person. We may suspend or terminate accounts found to violate these terms.
3. Acceptable use
You may not:
- Use cheats, bots, automation, modified clients, or any unfair means to gain an advantage.
- Exploit bugs in a way that materially affects other players or the game economy.
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players or staff.
- Attempt to access another user's account or our systems without authorization.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code, except as permitted by law.
4. Virtual goods and purchases
- In-game items (chests, supporter status, cosmetics, etc.) are licensed to you for personal entertainment and have no real-world monetary value.
- Purchases are processed by the platform you bought through (Stripe on the web, Apple, Google, Steam, or Epic). Refunds are handled according to that platform's policies.
- You may not sell, trade, or transfer virtual goods outside the Service.
- If your account is terminated for violating these terms, you forfeit any unused virtual goods without refund.
5. Service availability
We provide the Service on an "as is" basis. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any virtual goods will remain available indefinitely.
6. Termination
You may delete your account at any time from in-game settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. On termination, your data is removed in line with our Privacy Policy.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability, regardless of cause, is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or NOK 1000, whichever is greater.
8. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced in-game. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Norway. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Norwegian courts, unless mandatory consumer law in your country provides otherwise.
